I call this a pure battlefield movie. The whole idea of the movie it to show the spirit of the US Marine that would never give up on saving life and fight till the end, even though they are against an unknown power with high tech machines power by H2O , they never give up and fight till the end.If you hoping to see this for the sake of the aliens, then better dun watch or you will be disappointed.
They are more machine like, and not even cooler than The Terminators!
You remember the last alien invasion movie? Skyline? I would said Skyline was better in terms of graphic & design, but Battle Los Angeles would make you cry with their passion to defend our world.
I rate the movie 4/10.
Points lost for not providing more ass-kicking, cool, and really really really extraterritoriality despite such cool title "Battle Los Angeles", we really are hoping for cool battle rather than seeing the spirit of marines. However, some part still touched my heart, and that's where the points goes to =]
